Second tenor Rich Jansma was reared in a Christian home and came to know Christ as Lord at age 14. Rich has been singing in church for as long as he can remember. His first vivid memory of singing was when he, his father and his grandfather sang a trio at a father/son banquet. He was only eight at the time and had to stand on a chair to be seen. Rich has sung in church choirs since the 9th grade. During his college years, Rich participated in a men's quartet who also traveled to many churches in the United States to represent Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. During the summer, Rich traveled to Europe in a special choral group. He is an insurance agent by profession.
